Alexis Kienlen is a poet, fiction writer, journalist and editor originally from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Her first
book, "She Dreams in Red" was published by Frontenac House in April 2007. Her work has appeared in over 40
publications and she has received 10 writing related awards. From 2001-2006, she served as the Literary Edi-
tor for Ricepaper magazine, a Vancouver based that celebrates Asian Canadian art and culture.
