Linda Smith had published eight books as well as numerous short stories and poems before she suddenly passed away this fall. She’d written in all types of genres, including realism, science fiction, and even a couple of mystery plays. She loved fantasy because it allows such scope for the imagination, especially in the creation of fictional worlds and allows writers to explore issues that arise not only on an individual level but also on a broader scale. She was excited about lending her talents to this show, because of her commitment to understanding issues like global economics and sustainability. We will be dedicating this show to Linda. She is missed by so many.
